Awesome heating power, no more long waits to reach mash or boil temps! Needs to be connected to its own 30 Amp circuit (mine goes to an isolator - basically a big red on/off switch which is wired directly into the fuse box with its own 30 Amp MCB protected by a RCD, fitted by a qualified electrician). Search 6kw element on Malt Miller website for more details on safe wiring, including what flex to use etc. Also has advice on fitting a bulkhead so you can attach the element to a kettle etc. DO NOT wire into a 13 Amp plug! ALWAYS use a qualified electrician. Happy brewing!
