We were thrilled when our package arrived, only to discover that our new furniture pieces were nothing but broken and unusable. My father thinks I'll be joining him at the beer tasting anytime soon, but we've been left high and dry - despite his constant reminders, I just can't seem to get on with it.

Mrs Pugh, my French African wife, has made a real splash in the beer world, turning her back on wine for good and becoming a proper connoisseur. She's recently fallen head over heels for some of the wonderful beers she discovered during our recent trip to Antwerp and Ghent. Her latest obsession is Delirium, which I've been meaning to try but have somehow managed to put off.

Despite my lack of enthusiasm for beer myself, Mrs Pugh has been raving about it - she says it's a smooth, surprisingly light beer that hides its powerful alcohol content within its midst. There are soft fruit taste notes without overpowering the real taste of the hops, and it has lovely golden color that looks beautiful in the Delirium glass.

It's not an easy beer to get here in the UK, so I'm making a bit of a purchase just to be on the safe side - or at least to give Mrs Pugh something to brag about. This product set is ideal for those who take their beer seriously, and it's definitely worth considering if you're looking to upgrade your drinking experience.
