John Bull - India Pale Ale IPA - 40 Pint Beer Kit Make 40 pints of traditional India Pale Ale (IPA) beer with the John Bull IPA beer kit. John Bull IPA will brew to approx 4.5% abv mark. You can make this beer kit stronger and more full bodied by reducing the water from 40 pints (23litres) to 32 (18litres) pints and this will raise the abv to about 5.5% This kit will also require one of the following: a - 1kg of Brewing Sugar (supermarket sugar will work, but it will cause the finished beer to be sweet) Or b - 1kg of Beer Enhancer.
