To quote the saying these are as rare as Hens teeth.In 1979 Morland was approached by MG to promote their 50th Anniversary, they dug into the archive and came up with a vehicle made in the 1930's with an unusual decor which led to the nickname 'Old Speckled Hen's.However very shortly after ( 1980) MG closed their production and the future of the brand was unclear, so the decision was taken to remove the direct reference to MG and all metal clips were withdrawn.So this is a rare survivor even in the used condition this is a much sought after piece
