This softshell layer is wind, water, and abrasion resistant while still being very breathable. The fit is athletic/slim, and it's fairly stretchy. I use my other one for climbing and it has proven to be durable on rock, but it would also work well for hiking, skiing, and cycling in cool and windy weather.
